End Time Prophecies being fulfilled
The Light of the World by Holman Hunt
This was inspired by the scripture
“Behold I stand at the door and knock if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me”. Revelation 3:20.
Revelation 18 v 1-3. After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with His glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.
The ancient city of Babylon also figures in end time prophecy. It appears that Babylon will become the trade centre of the world and plans are in place for a global communication hub to be built in Babylon. It will handle all electronic mail including emails, faxes, mobile text messages and all phone calls, land line and mobile, private and commercial.
A new American embassy is also scheduled, the largest in the world will also be built in Babylon.
Before his captor Saddam Hussein had began some 24 years previously to excavate and rebuild the ancient ruins.
The Revived Roman Empire
Daniel is given a vision of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and its interpretation.
Daniel 2 v 30 – 45. But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thought of your heart. You O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splender was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image of its feet of iron and clay, and broke them into pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. You O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all-you are this head of gold. But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all of the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything, and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others.
Scholars believe that the elements of the image are thus:
The head of fine gold represents Babylon, its chest and arms of silver represents Persia, its belly and thighs of bronze represent Greece, its legs of iron represent the two legs of the revived Roman empire.
Unlike Babylonian, Persia and the Greek empires, the Roman Empire was never conquered and the political and religious aspects of the Roman Empire exist today. The treaty of Rome signed in 1957 has ushered in the European Union representing the first leg of the Roman Empire, the second leg will be the Union for the Mediterranean previously known as the Mediterranean Union is a proposed community of European Union member states and countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
The Jewish Temple
Although the Jewish people recovered Jerusalem in 1967, Temple mount was handed back to the Muslims in an exchange of a promise of peace.
Right now there is a Muslim Mosque on the site that is called The Dome of the Rock and the Muslims obviously have no intention of removing their mosque to allow the Jews to rebuild the Holy Temple in that spot.
However, in order for the prophecies of the bible to be fulfilled, the new Holy Temple has to be rebuilt. Plans for the new temple are being drawn up and once God makes it supernaturally possible for the temple to be rebuilt, it will only take two years.

For the first time in 2000 years, the linen garments for the lay priests to service in the Holy Temple. 120 sets of linen garments for the priests are presently under way.
For the first time in 1938 years these garments of lay priests are being weaved in preparation for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple and the renewal of the divine service.
No effort has been spared by the temple institute in producing the necessary material for the performing of the Torah commandments.
The Golden Menorah is moving closer to its intended destination, the very centre of the temple. The Menorah is being crafted to the exact specification dictated by both archaeological and biblical references.
The Red Heifer
Today the prophecy of the Red Heifer takes on more and more significance for without it, the divine service of the Holy Temple cannot be resumed.
Both Jews and Christians believe that the Messiah can only return when the temple has been rebuilt. Throughout all their bitter wanderings the Jews have prayed three times daily ‘May the Holy temple be rebuilt speedily and in our days’.
The importance of the red heifer lies in the fact that the temple can not be rededicated and the divine service restarted until the red heifer has been sacrificed and its ashes are used, this being the central missing ingredient for the reinstatement of biblical purity and thereafter the building of the Holy Temple.
